At SHOAA Organization, we are dedicated to humanitarian aid, peace-building, and sustainable development.
SHOAA Organization for Development and Rehabilitation (SODR) is a Sudanese national voluntary charitable humanitarian non-governmental organization. It was founded in 2011 by dedicated Darfurian women and youth volunteers who felt a profound duty to their community following the Darfur Conflict that began in 2003.
Officially registered in 2012, SODR is a non-religious, non-political, and non-profit organization. Our work focuses on providing relief and advocating for human rights, with a strong commitment to peace-building and community empowerment across all communities and ethnic groups in the Darfur region.
To provide critical humanitarian aid, promote human rights principles, and advocate for lasting peace through community-driven initiatives that empower and uplift the most vulnerable populations in Sudan.
